Vision Statement Our vision is to bring the world of information and learning into the classrooms and transform them into technologically rich environment where independent learning and problem solving are incorporated into all areas of the educational program. This will be realized by: Providing teachers and students with classrooms and curricular materials infused with technology. Students will become "real" researchers solving "real problems through the use of technology. Training the educational staff to incorporate technology into their lesson plans, and to implement new material and methods to enhance current and future learning, in order for students to become excited and engaged. Creating a state of the art infrastructure that includes the networking of all instruction and administrative areas (classrooms, libraries, computer labs, special content area labs, offices, etc.) for data, voice and video communications. Utilizing hardware and software, that maximizes the most productive ways to effectively engage students in the learning process, to support a broad-based technology plan that includes both computer and information literacy. |
