Open Enrollment is an annual process that provides you the opportunity to enroll in a benefit plan or make changes to your current coverage. 

This year’s Open Enrollment period is October 23 – November 22, 2017.  
 

As of January 1, 2018, District staff will be offered medical coverage provided by Aetna. A chart has been prepared that outlines the current programs offered by the School Employee Health Benefit Program (SEHBP) and the comparable plans offered by Aetna. 

Aetna provides CCSD nine (9) plan options for medical coverage.  Click here for a summary of the available plan choices through Aetna.

                    
After you have identified your new Aetna plan, you must make a decision!

  • Option #1: If you choose to remain with the Aetna plan you are automatically mapped to, there is no action required to select a medical plan;

OR

  • Option #2: If you choose to participate in a different Aetna plan, you must make this change during Open Enrollment. Open Enrollment will begin Monday, October 23 and will end on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.

To determine if your physician is covered under the Aetna network, you can look up your provider on the Aetna website to determine your provider’s participation status. Instructions for completing this process is available here. 

Interested in enrolling or re-enrolling into the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) through Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC)? Click here.  **It is important to note you must re-enroll into this benefit each year.**

TASC offers a wide variety of services; however, Camden City School District only offers the following benefits under FSA:

CCSD does not offer short term disability insurance. Third-party vendors provide short-term disability insurance. The full cost of short-term disability insurance is the employee's responsibility, meaning there is no contribution from CCSD. The employee premium can be processed as a payroll deduction.  For additional information regarding plan offerings, please contact the vendor of your choice.
